Having been working with Unity since I've begun programming with 12 years, I can confidently say that Unity is my main strength and that there is no task that I can't tackle with Unity as my weapon of choice.
Multiple times throughout my career, I have been confronted with tasks where a real time engine would have been overkill or simply not the right tool for the job. That's where I learned to create standalone applications and tools using UWP. While I may not be as experienced in it as in Unity, I still feel very comfortable developing UWP apps.
Coming from a C# background, C++ isnt my main strength, but I am still comfortable working with it.
Visual Studio is by far my favorite IDE and I feel very comfortable working in it for coding, debugging or testing.
As a game developer, there is no way you can get around the Unreal Engine. Even though I never have shipped a finished product with it, I still have gathered some experience with it in private projects.
I use Git (in the form of Bash and GitHub) in every project I work on, including my own personal projects as well as large scale ones on a professional level.
As a Unity developer C# is your best friend, but even besides Unity I have used C# to develop for the universal Windows platform or have been using it with other programs like the free open source engine Godot.
Compared to other engines, the Godot Engine is still a very new player on the market, but still it managed to impress me. I have used it for a couple of small prototypes in my free time and would definitely be interested in using it professionally. If you have got a task like that, hit me up!
